25% Vegan Options in Restaurants and Food Establishments
25% of the menu must have vegan offerings, excluding (but not limited to): dairy products, eggs, meat (including chicken, beef, fish, pork, seafood), honey (including beeswax and bee pollen).
Cruelty-Free Manufacturing Process
Items will not be considered vegan if animal testing was conducted during their production by the business owner, the manufacturer, an agent of either, or any third party under the effective control of the business owner or manufacturer.

Thanks to the support of our donors, we can offer our services at a subsidised monthly fee, allowing us to support as many businesses as possible. Our priority is to raise awareness of veganism and make it accessible to more people by supporting vegan-friendly businesses. Our prices vary slightly depending on the number of products your business offers/your restaurant size, and we’ll be happy to provide more details once we have this information.
Yes! We are a global organisation, and our trademark is recognised worldwide. While we prioritise businesses based in the UK, Europe, and the US, we would still love to get to know you better and explore certification options if you're located elsewhere. Our aim is to make veganism accessible worldwide.
Each business receives ongoing support from the Vegan Friendly team, who will guide you through the certification process. Our Social Media Manager will also work with you on features and promotions across social channels. We love to introduce you to other businesses in our B2B catalogue that you might be interested in collaborating with, and we’re happy to provide consultancy on your brand; marketing, or any other support you may need. Our mission is to make veganism accessible everywhere - your success is our success.
Certification takes a couple of weeks, which includes signing the contract, onboarding, and product/menu verification process - at which point we can move forward so you can enjoy all the other benefits we provide!
